He completed his graduation in Human Services, Foundation for International Services, Washington, USA and Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. He has also completed DLCAS, Hazelden Centre of Addiction Studies, MN, USA). He is approved by DAPPANZ and also qualifies for ACA Position OASAS (Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services) Albany, NY, USA.

He is working with The Kusnacht Practice, Switzerland, and Wilson Smith Recovery Services, Mumbai, promoting them among Indian clients & medical community. He had also worked with NavNirmaan Foundation Inc. Volunteer Counselor New York, USA, The Hope Foundation, New Delhi.

He has Joined UDGAM- A Mental Health Care & Rehabilitation Centre, Delhi as De-addiction counselor, Mindfulness and compassion focused Therapist. He is expert in the field of stress management and motivational strategies. He has good knowledge of general mental health conditions, effective Group- facilitation skills, management of alcohol and drug abuse persons. His treatment approach ranges across eclectic, humanistic, family therapy and existential types.

He has authored a book titled “A Pathway to addiction recovery” which is a guide for families of addicts, who are the main pillars for the recovery of any addict. The book helps understand the sensitivities of addiction and the best possible options to aid recovery. It helps them empathize with the addict and makes them gentler in handling the situation in a peaceful and detached way.
